Estimates are not quotations

This website does not quote prices. The calculator sizes a system and estimates what it will generate and save; it does not state what an installation costs, what subsidy amount applies to that cost, or any payback period. Those follow from a site survey.

Every financial figure that is shown — yearly saving, bill offset and the long-run projection — is an estimate produced from published assumptions. Those assumptions are listed under “How this estimate is calculated” on the calculator page and are configured by us, not imposed by any authority. An estimate is not an offer, a quotation or a contract. A price becomes binding only in a written quotation issued after a site survey, and only for the scope that quotation describes.

Generation and savings are not guaranteed

How much a system generates depends on orientation, tilt, shading, soiling, ambient temperature and the weather. How much it saves additionally depends on your consumption pattern, your tariff and your DISCOM’s metering regulations, all of which can change. Nothing on this site guarantees a level of generation or saving.

Subsidy eligibility

The calculator reports whether a configuration meets the published conditions of PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. It does not state an amount, because the assistance is calculated against an installed cost this site does not quote. Whether you personally qualify depends on your connection, your DISCOM, the equipment installed and approval through the National Portal. We state the conditions; we do not decide them, and we cannot promise an outcome.

Content marked as sample or unverified on this site is exactly that, and must not be relied on. Figures, project records and credentials are published as verified only once they can be checked against a document.
